ASSOCIATIONS
Goaltenders need consistent and progressive training throughout the year. ProHybrid Training specializes in providing youth hockey and AAA programs with complete professional goalie training programs. We are flexible to work with a wide range of budgets and models. ProHybrid is a leader with 18 contracted Youth Association and AAA Programs for 2011-12 season. Checkout our Partners Page for a full list of the Twin Cites Metro Area Associations that we train.
We emphasize accountability and communication between goalie coaches, association coaches, goalie parents as well as the young goaltenders and their families. Goaltending is the most critical position in the game; these athletes that guard the net deserve the best instruction. Programs we offer include:
- In Season Goalie Clinics
- Goalies meet regularly throughout the season to work on skills
- Program is directly designed to meet our Development Progression Series. Each session builds on each other with specific goals set for the season
- We bring the association's coaches on the ice with us to learn the drills and development muscle memory teaching their goalie
- Sessions build positive momentum for your entire association
- Consistent Confidence Classroom Seminars
- Based on the principles Zach's soon to be released book: Consistent Confidence - A Systematic Approach to Gaining and Maintaining Confidence
- Zach SIkich personally speaks to your goalie families or entire association on how to establish self esteem, build confidence and cultivate a strong positive presence.
- Program includes three 45 minute seminars given throughout the season
- Goalie Coaching for Coaches Clinics
- Kickoff the season with a clinic that sets the foundation for a solid year of training.
- All association coaches participate in:
- 1 hour classroom session that reviews the ProHybrid System Principles as well as info on how to effectively motivate and train their goalies
- 1 hour on ice session demonstrating a range of great drills and how to make their team drills more effective for goalies
- All coaches receive a complimentary copy of Volume 1 of our ProHybrid DVD Series
- Intro to Goaltending Programs (Mites)
- Introduce and educate young goalies and their families about the amazing aspects and challenges of being a goalie
- 15 minute goalie / parent classroom
- 1 hour on ice goalie session
- Off Ice Goalie Specific Training
- Establish and train in a core series of exercises that each goalie can use away from the rink as hockey homework
- Hand Eye, Agility, Core Strength, Explosive Power, Cardio Conditioning
- Each goalie receives a ProHybrid Off Ice Training Folder to chart their exercise progress
- Goalie Consulting at Practice
- A ProHybrid Instructor attends your team's practice to work with goalies and team coaches.
- Goalies and coaches get valuable feedback during team shooting drills
- Goalie Parents and Individual teams can bring ProHybrid out for additional sessions.
